Carole hosts 1, 2, 3 and 5 day workshops at the National Stone Centre in the Peak District of Derbyshire.
You will be working on a terrace above an old quarry full of rocks, fossils, sculptures and wildflowers.
Refreshments and toilets are provided by the Visitor Centre.

Ceramics and other crafts may be embraced as a possibility while stone is considered to be beyond most people’s capability. Living Stones Sculpture Workshops would like to alter that point of view. During your course at The National Stone Centre you will be encouraged to explore and develop an image for carving. There will be drawings and suggestions available to stir up your imagination. You will learn how to handle the tools and basic carving techniques. You don’t have to be “arty” or have any kind of drawing skills. You will be able to take home a piece of work and a sense of achievement and more to the point, you will have had fun!
